The Programs of Good Shepherd Housing
  • Apartments Budgeting Counseling (A-B-C) – an alternative to the
homeless shelter for people denied housing in their own name due to bad credit or a poor rental history. People rent from us and we help them clean up their credit and rental reference problems.

  • Emergency Services – provides grants to people facing eviction, utility
disconnection or needing help with first months rent or security deposit.

  • Housing as Top Priority (HTP) – offers support, goal setting and some financial
backing to families teetering on the brink of homelessness. Services are
aimed at breaking the family’s cycle of homelessness.

  • Budget Counseling – financial education for low-income families and individuals.
Participants clean up past problems and move on to financial
    success.

  • Children's Resource – ensures that children in our programs do not miss
out on educational, social and recreational activities simply because their
families are low-income. This program provides school supplies, holiday
gifts and pays for after school activities and summer camps.
